My own ceramic creations.

I thought it would be nice if you could see some of my own work.

My favourite way of creating is using the slab technique and hand building. 

It is a long process but I love the fact every piece is individual even though they are planned out very carefully. It also makes my pieces quite sculptural even though they all have a purpose.

I enjoy using underglazes to decorate and love Art Deco which has inspired the shape and decoration of some of my pieces.

I also make my own glazes for dipping and pouring and love the fact that every glaze is unique!

The colours I use are inspired by my surroundings, the water and foliage of the waterways ,and the way I layer the glazes reflects this.
