Janet Roberts Ceramics background.

Hi,

Welcome to my website where you can see lots of people having fun with clay and find out how you could join in.

A little bit about me:

My love of clay started over 40 years ago when I went to University to train to become a primary teacher.

I majored in Art and Design with ceramics being my main focus.

Clay is an amazing media allowing everyone to be creative. It is an extremely tactile and relaxing media to work with as well as  often being exciting because of its unpredictable nature.

My husband and I moved onto a narrowboat 11 years ago and I continued teaching.

In the last year I finally retired completely from teaching and started making with clay again full time.

Making on our narrowboat proved difficult because of the lack of space, so I recently got my own little studio with a kiln and wheel.

My workshops are in two different venues:

Whole day:

  • The Warwick Arms Hotel, Warwick.

My evening workshops are in:

  • The Basement Snug, Kenilworth.

These workshops are perfect for Hen Parties, Work events and Well Being  days.

They are  for a maximum of 10 people.

The whole days  include afternoon tea and coffee and the evenings include a glass of Prosecco and nibbles.

So...if you're feeling like being creative come along and join us

Hopefully see you soon,

Jan
