Hi I'm  Janet Roberts, welcome to my website.

 I make individual ceramic creations in my little studio, whilst living on a narrowboat in the pretty village of Crick.

I make my own glazes with colours being inspired by the water and foliage from my surroundings.

I work using mostly the slab building technique which makes my work look sculptural as well as functional.

I also make tableware which has a rustic feel using glazes of blues and greens. 

WORKSHOPS

In my workshops I will help you learn some of the basic techniques of working with clay and you will learn how to hand build.

You will make and underglaze a completed piece of pottery which will be fired twice and returned to you at a later date.

Making with clay is a relaxing, feel good experience as well as being fun and creative.

You don't have to be experienced at working with clay to join in.

I have a maximum of 10 people for each workshop to ensure a quality experience.
